Other Activities We Offer

Rock Climbing Peak District can offer you tailor made Instruction and Coaching courses for complete beginners to climbers wishing to push themselves and develop. Alongside this we have designed a variety of Group Days that are great for any type of occasion.

Archery Parties provide exciting and educational archery parties for children at our site in Ipstones on the Staffordshire Moorlands, or we can bring our archery parties to you. Archery Events provide corporate archery events at hotels and conference centres up and down the country. Corporate archery events are a great way to celebrate your corporate archery team building event. With our archery away days we regularly provide Duck Herding, falconry and Clay Shooting to give a full day of Country Pursuits. Moorlands Bushcraft specialises in sharing the bushcraft skills and knowledge needed to experience and enjoy living in the woods and on the moors in a comfortable and traditional way, more than just surviving. Moorlands Bushcraft are based on the Staffordshire Moorlands and operate in a private ten-acre SSSI woodland, however, we can bring our Bushcraft skills to you. Moorlands Bushcraft can bring bushcraft to schools, which will all help towards fulfilling your LoTC (Learning outside the classroom) requirements. Moorlands Bushcraft have also brought bushcraft skills to schools to support D of E programmes. Where Moorlands Bushcraft has brought bushcraft skills to schools for LoTC (Learning outside the classroom) purposes, a series of sessions has all been building up to an over-night woodland experience using all their new bushcraft skills. Derwent Adveture Education is the umbrella company for Abseiling Derbyshire, Archery Parties, Archery Events, Rock Climbing Peak District and Moorlands Bushcraft. Derwent Adventure Education is a licensed provider, licensed with AALA The Adventure Activities Licensing Authority) No. RO663, to provide educational adventure activities to young people. As well as providing off site educational adventure experiences, Derwent Adventure Education also visits schools as either a one off experience or a series of either archery events or Moorlands bushcraft skills sessions to help towards fulfilling your LoTC (Learning outside the classroom) requirements.
